IFI Services

IFI provides Behavioral Health Triage (service linkage) for family stabilizations. IFI is designed to stabilize the family; hence, requiring a lower level of care at the end of the IFI program.

Admission Criteria

Known or suspected Behavioral Health Diagnosis, age from 5-18, youth who is at-risk of disrupting home and/or foster placement, youth who has reunification plan, youth is at immediate risk of legal system intervention or currenty involved with DJJ and/or Substance -related disorder and youth who have been treated at a lower level of care and behavior worsten.  Referral should be made 14 days in advance of youth returning home (permanent placement). 

Service Exclusions

Youth who are actively psychotic,   Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, Neurocognitive Disorder, Organic Behavioral Disorders, Traumatic Brain Injury or Autism Spectrum Disorders including Asperger Disorder.

Intensive Family Intervention

Team approach consisting of one lead therapist (state licensed professional) and two paraprofessionals. Youth are generally at risk of out of home placement or either returning home from out of home placement. Services are intensive and youth are seen by the team four to seven times weekly from three to nine months. 

What Does IFI Services Cover

Individual and Family Therapy, Educational Advocacy, Support Life Skills Training , Community Resource Development and School based Services.

Response Time

24 hours phone contact upon receiving referral and Face-to-Face contact within 48 hours from the receipt of the referral. Crisis response time will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Transitional Plan/
Step-down Services

Youth will be stepped down to a lower level of care which consist of various services that Core offers.
